The cottage is tucked away in the midst of a little hamlet called “La Boutaudière”. You’d hardly know the cottage was there and with its rustic French style, it offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hamlet is between Civray which has all the facilities you could need and Charroux, a very pretty market town, each only five minutes away by car.

Set in the heart of the Poitou Charentes in the southern part of the Vienne, there are a multitude of treasures to discover, but if the weather is good you won't want to budge from the cottage except perhaps to do your shopping and sample the local markets.
